Sass & Peril

Friday, 2 November 2012

Here are some lovely screen printed paper and textile goods to round off the week. They come from Longbeach, California-based creative studio Sass & Peril, which is run by Shannon Kennedy and Cesar Fernandez. With almost a decade of experience working in corporate graphic design, Shannon decided to embark on a new venture with her own line of handmade goods, and now produces an adorable range of screen printed cards, cushions, totes, prints, tea towels and garments. Shannon's designs are heavily influenced by mid-century style, and while many of her products are produced with children in mind, they are most definitely ideal for big kids too.

All of Shannon and Cesar's items are handmade in their Long Beach studio using non-toxic water-based inks, and recycled papers and organic fabrics are used where possible.

There's a lot to like about the Sass & Peril collection, and I'm especially loving the apple, pear, fox and owl prints. If you'd like to see more, check out the Sass & Peril online shop, website and blog. And that's all from me for the week – hope you all have a fabulous weekend!
