New textiles from Leah Duncan

Monday, 1 October 2012

Hello friends! Did you have a lovely weekend? I don't know why I'm quite so cheery as it's Monday morning, a bit grey out and I have a bucket load of work to get on with this week, but maybe it has something to do with feeling inspired by these lovely new textiles from Austin-based designer Leah Duncan. Do they make you feel inspired too?

As we've come to expect from Leah, these new tea towels and cushion covers all feature beautiful screen printed motifs and patterns, and have quite a native American and folk-inspired feel about them. Leah's textiles are all made with natural linen and printed using water-based inks, which I think adds to the tactile quality of her designs. I'm especially loving the cactus tea towel (which is also available as a print) and those bright and bold cushions. Gorgeous!
