The Great Lakes is a stationery and homewares goods company based in Brooklyn. Developed in 2007 by Rose Lazar, the Great Lakes is inspired by Charley Harper, Rob Ryan, campfires, nature, nostalgia and music. Rose developed her label as an outlet for what she loves doing – printmaking – and all of her work is drawn, printed and constructed by hand.
Rose's range consists of hand drawn greeting cards and prints, as well as a range of lovely laser wood cut wall charms shaped like feathers. I really like Rose's illustration style and the pops of neon in her work (how cute is that Meow-chos Muchos card!).
